Personalised Photo Diaries

In a world full of fruit-based mobile phones, it'd be easy to forget about the charms of a good, old-fashioned diary. After all, it seems that with all the electronic alternatives now available in the palm of your hand, the notion of writing down appointments is dying a death. And that's really sad. But it's also why we're very excited about personalised photo diaries, which are here to put a bit of fun back into ‘proper' diaries, in addition to providing a personal touch to proceedings.

So what's the deal? Essentially, you get to upload 13 photos – that's one for every month as well as a front cover. It's a great way of making sure your best snaps aren't confined to a file on your computer. And don't be fooled into thinking personalisation is a tricky process – you're looking at a few clicks and Bob's your uncle. Oh yeah, and photos can be landscape or portrait. Both work.

You can even select the design for the front cover. And for a real finishing touch, the photo upload diary also comes with the option of including an embossed wallet cover that's available in a range of colours, including red, black, brown, pink, orange and purple. The recipient's name will then feature in the bottom-right corner.

On top of that, you can include as many personal dates as you like, which means forgetting birthdays and anniversaries becomes a thing of the past. And if you agree to it, there's even the chance to save all your key dates so they can be used in next year's diary. The other big perk is that you get to start the personalised photo diary from a month of your choice, so you can kick things off at the start of the football season or the school year.

Measurements-wise, they come in a couple of sizes. The personalised photo desk diary is A5, meaning it's roughly 148x210mm, with four pages given over to every month. It's an identical story with the upload diary, while for something more streamlined, there's the slim version that'll happily slide into some of the dinkiest handbags.
